WHAT WE BELIEVE

*
What
WE BELIEVE that there is one living and true GOD, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all things. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; Hebrews 9:14)

WE BELIEVE in the person of God the Father, an Infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all those who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Deuteronomy 33:27; Psalms 90:2; Psalms 102:27; John 4:24; 1 Timothy 1:17; Titus 1:3)
~
We
WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide. (John 14:16-17, 16:8-11)

WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the proper exercise of all Biblical gifts of the Spirit according to the Scriptures. (1 Corinthians 14)

WE BELIEVE that the worship of God should be spiritual; therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.

WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the church: (a) water baptism, and (b) the Lord's Supper. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

Believe
WE BELIEVE that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice. The Word of God is the foundation upon which this church operates and is the basis for which this church is governed. WE BELIEVE that the Word of God supersedes any earthly law that is contrary to the Holy Scriptures. (Isaiah 28:13; Nehemiah 8:8; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:21).

WE BELIEVE in the church of God, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the head and all who are born again are members. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 4:15-16)

Enjoy the simplicity of teaching and understanding of the Holy Bible.
1.) There is one true God who exists in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7).
2.) The Bible is the inspired, revealed Word of God—written by men, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the answer for our needs (2 Peter 1:20-21 & 2 Timothy 3:16).
3.) Jesus Christ is both God and Man—His divine nature from God and His humanity from Mary, His mother (Luke 1:35).
4.) Only through Jesus Christ can we be reconciled to God (John 3:3 &14:6). Man was created in the image of God, but when sin entered the world, spiritual and physical death began (Romans 5:12).
5.) The person of the Holy Spirit is received by all at salvation. The infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is available to all believers to empower them in their walk with Christ (Matthew 3:11 & Acts 2:4).
6.) Divine healing —spirit, mind, and body – is available today through Jesus who is The Healer (3 John 2). Miracles are a witness to the power of God and for the edification of believers (Mark 16:20).
7.) A lifestyle of giving and receiving is a part of God’s provision and is important in the life of the believer (Genesis 8:22 & Luke 6:38). This is sowing and reaping or (seed-faith).
8.) Water baptism is an outward symbol of an inward experience and a way for us to publicly declare our new life in Christ (Matthew 28:19).
9.) Holy Communion is the remembrance and celebration of Jesus’ death; His broken body on the Cross for our healing and His shed blood for the forgiveness of sin (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
10. Heaven and hell are real places. We will live eternally with God through salvation in Jesus Christ or eternally separated from God (John 3:16, Matthew 25:31-34).
